Brutally frank, imo. What is needed to undo / reverse any of those observations? Changing culture, in my view, and I know of no examples of successfully changing culture. Japan, looking at her entire transformation from 1853 to the present, is one of the most interesting. Singapore, maybe. Germany, Ireland; separately, Northern Ireland, sort of. Italy, Spain, Portugal, all South American countries, all interesting. CHina, India, both interesting. But no convincing examples of changing culture for the better.
US is an interesting example of culture entropy, degrading from the idealism and rationality of the revolution to the present
