There is a popular Christian song, inspired by a verse in the Bible that goes: “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.” — does anyone on the Christian right actually believe that Jesus would approve of, or otherwise bless their refusal to help the less fortunate because they fear a Democratic president? It doesn’t matter why they need help, just that they need help. right?! right??!?
