Surprised you posted this one without comment. Thoughts I had while reading it:
1) no seriously, why wean off? this drug seems to be saving your life
2) it’s a bummer to have SAD and have to do this twice a year. but even that low dose has repurcussions (for me, it’s weight issues), and who wants more than six months of no drinking?
Somehow I think we need to find a balance, as a society, between overmedicalization and fear of “being on this drug for life.” I mean, if a drug demonstrably improves your life from a negative state, isn’t it worth a few pounds?
