  1. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, or maybe I mean dreading it for a long time. The technology available is certainly more likely to succeed than what was available back when the first screenplay was written.

    I wonder if they’ll be able to create a cinematic equivalent of what is among my favorite opening sentences.
