Milk chocolate was introduced during one of the World Wars, when chocolate was hard to come by, but diluting it with milk seemed to still taste ok while making it go further. Health claims around the world “milk” were used to bring Americans over to this mild and diluted version. Just because we’re used to it doesn’t make it better.
Sorry, I prefer my coffee strong and my chocolate dark.
