I have always been drawn to songs of anger and contempt; not subtle, of course, but an often overpowering statement from an artist. Idiot Wind is the archetype of songs that grab me that way. A few things from Elvis Costello, notably Tramp the Dirt Down and I’m Not Angry, are right up there too.
