Just a quick update on the New York Times article.

I have just spoken to Vaughan Bell, one of the key psychologists mentioned in the article and he was kind enough to clarify that he has never studied Gang Stalking.

The research that he did, fully focuses on Mind Control sites. He has never studied Gang Stalking or the Gang Stalking World website more specifically.

I think one of the things that Sarah Kershaw did in the article, that many people do is that she lumped in Gang Stalking, Electronic Harassment, and Mind Control, all together.

I have written several follow up articles, which I can post if you are interested or just leave a link. I did want to have this correction made.

I thank you for your feedback, it's nice to get a different perspective on what was written in the article.

Gangstalking: I agree. I think that the support and validation received by the sufferers with whom I have worked when they use such sites is helpful, not harmful. In a world where they are treated harshly by the mental health system, such validation is needed. Perhaps it would not if the psychiatric establishment were not, sadly, so far from meeting their needs.

Hi there,

I am from Gang Stalking World and I wanted to get some feedback from people who do use these websites for asssitance. Since you do work with patients that are suffering from this, what type of feedback do you get from people in general?

The feedback that I have recieved is that getting validation just like with any other form of harassment, be it bullying or workplace mobbing, goes a long way towards helping the individual begin to come to terms with what is happening, and to start to find ways to cope that traditional practices have not.

If I have this correct,John Mack's reputation suffered (Harvard was mortified) because of his association with the(alleged)abductees. His courageous, compassionate treatment of those who were clearly suffering, was lost on a lot of folks. Did you know Dr. Mack?

Bettleheim's use of dark fairy tales to help emotionally disturbed children always made sense to me; and later as a parent, his talk of being an ally with your child, rather than a confronter. ( I'll forget about his refrigerator mom theory)
